Qualifications needed for this position:
- 2+ years of experience is a plus
- NATE certified or acquire NATE certification within 6 months of employment
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replacement decisions
- Advanced customer service skills - must be personable & possess good customer relation skills
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
- Must be willing to help with installs if needed

Apprentice - HVAC
Apprentice - HVAC
Position Summary: To provide HVAC system installations assistance according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Employment Type: Full Time
Qualifications needed for this position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, wiring and refrigerant
- Maintain and repair HVAC equipment, including air handlers, heat pumps and boilers
- Assist with troubleshooting HVAC system problems and make necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including cleaning coils and changing filters
- Learn and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Attend classroom education and on-the-job training sessions
- Communicate effectively with senior HVAC technicians, co-workers and clients
